Thank you for your interest both in our products and registering to become one of our valued dealers.
All information you provide will be verified prior to being approved as an AweSome Musical Instruments Dealer.
Providing false or misleading information will put you at risk of irrevocably being put on our "Do Not Serve" list.
First, you should know that our products are proudly made in the U.S.A.
Second, we are an un-company (one without a building, employees or assets). We have outsourced all non-strategic business responsibilities (e.g., product manufacturing and order fulfillment) to local companies. By having others shoulder these activities, we are able to better use our time to focus on developing new products to add to our catalog as well as more effectively promote our company. However, this business decision brings with it increased cost.
Our product cost includes parts suppliers, manufacturing vendors and labor, order fulfillment/shipping services, advertising expense, substantial recurring patent maintenance fees — as well several levels of confiscatory government.
After several months of extensive test marketing research, it is clear that buyers have indicated the maximum amount they are willing to pay for each of our products. This means that our product prices are now set where serious (and even casual) musicians would find acceptable enough to purchase.
Other industry statistics indicate that the average "hobby guitarist" has 5.7 electric guitars. To garner repeat sales from this market means the pricing for our products need to be acceptable enough for them to justify upgrading the rest of their instruments (plus the word of mouth recommendations that would also flow from this strategy.)
Because we are not the Salvation Army, we need to be profitable. We are sure you realize that our growing family of upgrade products are unique and are protected by patent. They are not a generic commodity; like picks, strings, guitar cases, etc. Because we are the sole source of supply, they are simply not LEGALLY available anywhere else.
We do not support discounting the price of our products because it conveys an untrue implication to customers that our products are not of high value. Second, agreeing to a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) aka list price eliminates having dealers pit themselves against each other in a "price race to the bottom." By providing a comfortable price leeway, there is no compelling reason to discount our products. If you use our list price for our products, you can achieve a reasonable profit without the need to fight with others. Neither of these scenarios is good for our quality dealers nor our company. This means that there is an incentive to sell our products at their list price. Dealers that do not understand these sound business principles will quickly find themselves on our "Do Not Serve" list and will no longer be supplied.
As a new startup, we have deliberately stayed under everyone's radar. Our focus over the last several months has been to increase our product catalog and garner published product reviews. Having accomplished these objectives, we are now ready to start aggressively contacting several thousand strategic sources globally. This includes musicians, manufacturers of related and complementary products, dealers, as well as distributors.
In light of the above enumerated business cost, we believe we have arrived at a reasonable balance for everyone.
Our products are available to REGISTERED dealers (with no minimum quantity) for a substantial percent off our list price (aka MAP) plus shipping. After you register as a Dealer, all information you provide will be verified prior to being approved as an AweSome Musical Instruments Dealer. Providing false or misleading information will put you at risk of irrevocably being put on our "Do Not Serve" list. After being verified, you will be provided with access to the Dealer purchasing page.
All dealer purchases are prepaid only and exclusively via paypal. We're a business not a bank. If you need to finance the purchase of our products, talk to your financial institution's loan officer.
The companies that are OK with our business model will soon be making a ton of profit. Those that aren't won't.
