All of our High Performance Hyper-Mod^TM and other switching system family of products are based on our revolutionary patented Pickup Tone Multiplier^TM (PTM) switching system. These incredible products are designed to give you MORE Pure Virgin Analog pickup sounds than you ever thought possible. How many? Your 4-pickup coil instrument will immediately give you 76 Pure Analog pickup sounds. A 3-pickup coil instrument will give you 35 Pure Analog pickup sounds. Your 2-pickup coil instrument will now have 6 (100 percent More) pickup sounds. And because these products are completely passive, there are no batteries to go dead or fragile electronics to stop working — when you are recording or performing.

Detail-oriented people will note that we now use the term "pickup coil" rather than "pickup" when referring to the number of coils that each of our products control. The reason is because there are instruments with 4-wire humbuckers. Although this is technically one pickup, it actually gives you access to two separate pickup coils.

Attention Dealers: All of our products are individually packaged and have a hang tag for easy display. Each product also contains its own unique 12-digit UPC Barcode for convenient inventory sales and tracking.

Our Pickup Tone MultiplierTM (PTM) switching system products are available in three different board types: T4-Board, T3-Board and T2-Board. Here is a short description each board type. The T4-Board was designed to control all instruments (Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazz Bass and similar instruments) with 4-pickup coils. This can be an instrument with two 4-wire humbucker pickups, one 4-wire humbucker pickup and two single-coil pickups, or any similar configuration. Using six switches to control four coils it will give you 76 pickup tones. The T3-Board was designed to control all instruments (Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazz Bass and similar instruments) with 3-pickup coils. This can be an instrument with three single-coil pickups, one 4-wire humbucker pickup and one single-coil pickup, or any similar configuration. Using six switches to control three coils it will give you 35 pickup tones. The T2-Board was designed to control all instruments (Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazz Bass and similar instruments) with 2-pickup coils. This can be an instrument with two single-coil pickups, one 4-wire humbucker pickup, or any similar configuration. Using three switches to control two coils it will give you 6 pickup tones. The switching functionality of each board type is identical. The only difference is in how the switches are presented. Before proceeding, you must determine which board type you need for your instrument.

• Stratocaster: Hyper-Mod^TM Stratocaster Pickguard, a solder-free drop-in product complete with our PTM and Volume/Tone control available for either your right-hand and left-hand SSS instruments for 4- and 3-pickup coil versions. • Telecaster: Hyper-Mod^TM Telecaster Control Plate, a solder-free drop-in product complete with our PTM and Volume/Tone control for your right-hand and left-hand instruments (for 4-, 3- and 2-pickup coil versions)
• Jazz Bass: Hyper-Mod^TM Jazz Bass Control Plate, a solder-free drop-in product complete with out PTM and Volume/Tone control, for your right-hand and left-hand instruments (for 4-, 3- and 2-pickup coil versions)
• Gibson: Hyper-Mod^TM This Gibson LP and similar upgrade product (available in December). The upgrade to your instrument will be transparent with no holes to drill. This will give you 100 percent more pickup tones from your instruments.
• Assembled Boards: These are Assembled and Tested Pickup Tone Multiplier^TM (PTM) switching system boards designed for your right-hand and left-hand instruments (for 4-, 3- and 2-pickup coil versions)

This switching system cannot be used with active (battery-powered) pickups or piezeoelectric pickups.

Active (i.e., battery-powered) pickups manufactured by Bartolini, EMG, Seymour Duncan, etc. will not work with my switching system. They use an on-board preamp that prevents my products from being included into the circuitry. Their design prevents any of the pickups from being put into series because it sends -9VDC back to the first pickup. Although they sell "add on" products to give you some of the functionality that my products automatically provide, this design limits their versatility and increases the cost to the musician. Many people who have tried these products remove them because they are "too sterile sounding". Anything that uses batteries will likely go dead at a crucial time - like when you're performing or in the recording studio. Bill Lawrence was right when he said, "Batteries belong in flashlights."
