Our Asymmetric 4-wire humbucker Type B pickups give you a  nice snarl edge for surfy tones, a good twang for country tones, or that smooth and subtle overdrive that you may need for Blues tones. 
 
These pickups have been designed specifically for our T4 Switch and T4Plus Switch products.
 
The Ultimate Humbuckers
Unlike "symmetric" humbucker pickups (both coils are identical) our Asymmetric humbucker pickups have different coil specifications (both for the Bridge pickup as well as the Neck pickup.) This means that you get a Grand Canyon Wide range of unique pickup tones when they are controlled by our T4 Switch or T4Plus Switch.

They even clean up nicely with the volume pot, something not all humbuckers do. The different coils do sound different. I've also lowered the humbucker but raised the pole pieces extremely high to unbalance the coils further, to exaggerate the tone difference between the two coils when I split them."

8" wire length, has 4 color stripped and tinned wires with case ground shield wire
Pickups are mounted in plastic surround with two height adjustment screws and springs

North Coil: 4.70K, 2.96 Henries (White +, Green -)
South Coil: 6.22K, 3.38 Henries (Red +, Black -)
50mm pole spacing. Comes with Alnico II Magnet
11" wire length, has 4 color stripped and tinned wires with case ground shield wire
Pickups are mounted in plastic surround with two height adjustment screws and springs
